Andressa started dating Tiago when she was 15 years old. After three months of romance they moved in together to the house of Tiago Costa. Arthur Urach Costa was born in May 2005. They split after six years of marriage because of divergences. Andressa Urach went on to stay with her son in her mother's house. Her job was cut off after six months and made the decision to relocate their son Sao Paulo to seek a new beginning. Andressa was able to get away from all of this abuse because Andressa's foster grandmother caught them in action. Andressa went back to remain at home with her mother and didn't realize the fact that Andressa was a victim of violence until she released her memoir. In her interviews, the famous woman claimed that, before her conversion to Christianity, she would not be able to forgive her abusive partner. One of the toughest decision I've made in my life was calling the man who sexually assaulted me. The decision wasn't easy. It wasn't an easy task. After many times of prayer and fasting, I told my friend on the phone that I'd forgiven him. I was not feeling guilty and asked his forgiveness. Then I asked for forgiveness, without even justifying my actions. Mariste Urach describes in a video interview with Globo about what she was feeling when she learned of the abuse her daughter had endured. Urach travelled into Rio Grande do Sul's interior to find the culprit and take vengeance.
